01/09/2006: "Sarah"

Sarah passed away this evening. She was a wonderful, lively, vibrant person and the world will be a quieter and much sadder place without her. When I am more composed I may write more about the person she was to me. In the meantime, I leave you her legacy - her livejournal, Seolta. The last few posts are from one of her best friends.

My thoughts are with all who knew Sarah, her closest friends and her family who have all been so incredibly brave throughout the last traumatic few weeks. Meanwhile, I am off to pour myself one of Sarah's favourites, a Springbank and drink a toast to thank her for allowing me the pleasure of knowing her during her short life.
