Thanks nisi for doing the meme - think you are the only one who accepted the challenge :-) Job's going well so far. The Fife accent is a bit of a victim of moderation but it is still there apparently when encouraged by alcohol!!

A nice place to grow up and probably retire to blush I'm well, starting a new job on Monday so excited about that but sad to leave so many friends and colleagues behind in the old place. I have dropped into your site a few times and wanted to comment but I keep losing the log in stuff you need to leave comments on your site. Anyway things are getting better after a shakey start to the year.

I've always loved the name "Fife", though I'm not at all sure where it is, exactly. Smewhere in Scotland, yes? I bicycled the width and length of Scotland, but feel as if I've only seen a taste of it (loved the Edinburg Festival and will always feel grateful that I had the chance to see and listen to Doris Lessing there).
