Reality Check
It's been a busy weekend, spent Friday morning shopping and then went to work lunch/night out. On Saturday did more shopping, helped SED finish her ball dress (which she decided not to wear - despite it turning out really rather spectacular), waited up late (4:30) then couldn't get back to sleep when she did get in but finally got around to making the christmas cake, then went off to do more shopping...... and then I went to visit a friend who is very ill in hospital and the whole Christmas thing took on a different meaning. I am stunned. Sometimes it takes a good punch of reality to put things in perspective. It's the people who matter.

New Job
Well the news is - I HAVE A NEW JOB 
It's funny though, I will be really sad to leave here and all the people I've met since being in my job. It struck me today that all the faces are so familiar, even if I don't really know everyone well, it's just that you get used to seeing the same people. It's going to be very strange. I am delighted to get the job and it's more money but it is full time, so I'm off to meet my director of studies to try to rearrange some of my art classes. The next wee while is going to be even more of a roller coater than the last few months I think. Take your seats and hang on tight!!

Christmas Frivolity
....while you're waiting for my news.......play this little christmas frivolity penguin game. Have spent way too long laughing when I get him to go headfirst about the 200 mark, but maybe that's just me. Record is 315, can you beat that?
